For 30+ years, I have helped many people who suffer with chronic pain – physical, emotional, and spiritual. I have a diverse background from the hands-on healing work of Visionary Craniosacral Work® and manual therapies to meditation and mindfulness techniques to Yoga and Somatics to Life Coaching to being a wilderness guide.
A Still Mountain Coaching session will call in different tools and practices at different times depending on your needs and goals. I have many tools in my tool bag that have proven very effective with my clients in reducing stress, decreasing pain, relieving anxiety, increasing confidence and vitality, and building resilience.

Visionary Craniosacral Work®
Visionary Craniosacral Work® (also known as Craniosacral Therapy) is a gentle, yet powerful hands-on modality that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve health and performance.
Craniosacral Work directly affects the nervous system and helps to “turn the volume down” on the sympathetic nervous system. It can help to reverse the debilitating effects of stress by providing the conditions in which the nervous system can rest, rejuvenate, and come back into balance–bolstering overall health and resistance to disease.
As an Intuitive, I use my channels of perception to “read” your body, your nervous system and your energetic field. Using this information I can help you to direct your attention to an issue or to an area of an energetic block. I can give pointers to help deepen your awareness of your nervous system and how to settle it, your breath, a chakra, grounding, etc.
As a practitioner of meditation for 40 years, I have a deep appreciation of the power of attention, quiet and stillness. There are countless methods of meditation and we can help you find the method that works for you that will fit into your life and bring relief and insight.
As a Yoga and Somatics instructor, I am able to offer you therapeutic exercises specific to your body to increase awareness, flexibility, and mobility.
Nervous System Regulation tools:
The evidence based practices of Mindfulness, Open Focus Brain and Breath work are very effective tools for nervous system regulation. These are easy to learn, extremely effective, “must have” tools to help you to feel empowered in managing your life challenges.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
EFT is considered “psychological acupressure”. The technique works by releasing blockages within the energy system which are the source of emotional intensity and discomfort. The combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmation works to clear the “short-circuit” – the emotional block — from your body’s bioenergy system, thus restoring your mind and body’s balance, which is essential for optimal health and the healing of physical disease.
On occasion I utilize the wisdom, energy and healing powers of nature to assist the journey to finding life balance and inner peace. I might suggest a walk in nature instead of meeting in my office. I might suggest a day long hike or floating in a kayak in a nearby lake. Or I might lead a group outing to the mountains, rivers or Cascade Lakes.
